Linde Katrizky is retired from teaching and is still active in research.
Her special emphasis on Georg Christoph Lichtenberg (1742-99), satirist,
aphorist, anglophile and professor of natural philosophy at Goettingen,
leads into many, often quite unexpected and seemingly unconnected directions.
It has resulted in over forty publications in
international and multi-disciplinary journals, and in three monographs:
Lichtenbergs Gedankensystem (New York 1995), Johnson
and the "Letters of Junius": New Perspectives
on an Old Enigma (New
York 1996) and A Guide
to Bonaventura's Nightwatches (New York 1999).
