Christina Overstreet is a senior lecturer in the Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies.  She received her Ph.D. in the College of Education at the University of Florida in the spring 2006.  Presently, she teaches Discover German, an online sequence she has developed and implemented together with colleagues in her department.  Her research interests include reading authentic text in the hypermedia environment, reading comprehension assessment, and intercultural communication.
